Session Description:

I have a Google Doc that lists over 23,000 HR & recruiting tech products (worldwide). Let that sink in for a moment. That’s like combining all the world’s oceans together. Its chaos, it’s loaded with slick marketing and sales efforts by vendors and, truth is, HR tech is NOT core to what we’ve traditionally done in HR. It helps us do things but HR Tech, in general, is becoming a much, much larger part of when, where, how, and why we do things in HR (and recruiting). Our traditional processes are changing because of the influx and adoption of different HR Tech solutions. Heck, our people, the way we’ve traditionally structured our HR departments is changing because of the HR Tech we choose to use or not use. Again, it’s complete and utter chaos.

So, change is in the air as it always is - but this particular moment in HR Tech represents a tsunami of change for HR leaders and HR managers. And, whether we like it or not, we either adapt to this massive HR Tech change or we run the real risk of becoming irrelevant within our own organizations.

Intro: Fear. Fear is weird. It can motivate us and debilitate us simultaneously. This workshop will specifically look at how we understand why HR Tech fear exists, how we as individuals (and as a community) overcome and/or cope with the fear of HR Tech and, how we create a winning game out of HR Tech. A winnable game!

Attendees will leave this session inspired, educated, entertained, and smarter. If you attend the session, you'll leave with confidence. Other than winning the lottery, what could possibly be better than that?
